Download Verity Mod for Minecraft (Java & Bedrock)

Three separate Verity builds exist, for different platforms and by different developers. Pick the one that matches how you play, then download it directly from its developer’s own page, or from this site.

Why we link out instead of hosting files ourselves: every build below is distributed under All Rights Reserved terms by its original developer. PnTMC’s listing explicitly states not to reupload or redistribute their addon without permission. We respect that, and we’d recommend being wary of any site that offers a Verity download hosted on its own server instead of linking to CurseForge or Modrinth directly — that’s not how a legitimately licensed copy is supposed to circulate.

Which Build Do You Need?

  • Playing on phone, console, or Windows Bedrock? → You want a Bedrock build (either option below).
  • Playing Java Edition with Forge or NeoForge? → Skip to Verity JE.
  • Not sure which Bedrock build to pick? → See the full comparison in the Verity BE (Official) review and the PnTMC Verity — Bedrock Edition review before downloading either.

Verity BE (Official) — by Undertaletalelover

Bedrock Edition. 4.3M+ downloads. License: All Rights Reserved. Currently targets Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.30.

Known for the most frequent update cadence of the three builds and a four-phase evolving personality system.

Verity – Bedrock Edition – by PnTMC

Bedrock Edition. 8M+ downloads — the largest of the three builds. License: All Rights Reserved. Currently targets Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.30.

Verity JE – by VarmiteYT

Java Edition, via Forge or NeoForge. Supports Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge, recommended) and 1.21.1 (NeoForge, currently flagged by the developer as buggy — see the NeoForge crash fix if you hit issues on that version). License: All Rights Reserved. The only build made with direct permission from ThatMob.

Before You Download, Regardless of Which Build

  • Enable Beta APIs first if you’re going Bedrock. Both Bedrock builds require this world setting on before they’ll respond at all. Walk through the full Beta APIs checklist so you’re not troubleshooting a “broken” mod that’s actually just missing one toggle.
  • Match your Minecraft version to what the listing currently states, not what’s written in any guide, including this one. All three builds update their supported version periodically — the CurseForge/Modrinth page you’re downloading from always has the current requirement.
  • Only download from the links above, or by navigating to these pages directly on curseforge.com or modrinth.com. Search results and video descriptions sometimes point to outdated mirrors or unofficial reuploads that behave differently from the current official file.
  • Back up your world before installing anything. Standard practice for any add-on, and especially relevant here since two of the three builds connect to an external server to function.
